Drafting before AutoCAD era

AutoCAD was released in 1982 and by 1994 many training centers had been using it worldwide. Before, drafting required pencils, erasers, t-squares, and was tedious and time-consuming.

There were almost no momen drafters before 1970s

During those times, project could last from 5 to 10 years!

In 1950s you didn’t get your first pay raise until your lettering looked acceptable

Everyone wore a tie and a lot were smoking which would sometimes burn a hole on the paper!

Sometimes there was a change and one had to rub it off (until a hole appeared).
